Industrial plastic conversion
Six Industrial Introductions in 120 Days
A hard industrial route around a plastic conversion facility in Belle, West Virginia — and why six is the number that matters.
The opportunity
This was not a software buyer list. Clean-Seas operates its West Virginia site as part of a plastic conversion network, turning difficult-to-recycle plastics into clean feedstocks, pyrolysis oil and related circular-economy outputs.
The company's own project page describes the Belle facility at 2700 East DuPont Avenue, with a Fortune 50 oil and gas producer as offtake purchaser, a feedstock source of 36,500 tons a year for ten years, phase-one processing capacity of 50 tons a day, phase-two capacity of 200 tons a day, and a 20-year lease with extension options.
The commercial problem was correspondingly sharp. A facility like this becomes real through qualified industrial relationships around feedstock, offtake, logistics, local stakeholders, waste streams and recycling infrastructure — parties who can actually move material or create strategic value.
What we delivered
The signals were facility stage, processing capacity, feedstock requirements, offtake structure, geography and stakeholder position. Not interest in recycling as a topic, but the operational shape of a plant designed to process post-use and post-industrial plastic at 50 tons a day with an expansion path to 200.
Heavy industrial markets do not behave like internet markets. The buying cycle is slower, the stakeholders are more conservative, the fit bar is higher, and the language has to be specific. Every introduction has to survive a reality test: can this party actually supply, buy, route, validate, finance, permit or transport?
We read the company, read the project stage, read the infrastructure signals, and routed introductions only where there was a real commercial reason for both sides to speak.
The result
Six introductions were routed over 120 days.
In a market like this the value is not in the count. One correct introduction can carry more return than hundreds of generic replies: if a single relationship helps secure feedstock, unlocks a strategic commercial partner, supports throughput or opens an offtake conversation, the economic value runs across months or years of plant activity.
Easy routes prove copy. Difficult routes prove the model.
